Extrusion |
|
The extruder complies with the sleeve to produce either plastic films or bags.

The production technique for making film by blowing extrusion consists of extruding a thin sleeve, which momentarily pinched off, is filled with air. The air which fills the sleeve is introduced through the die head used for this production.
The cooling device at inflated sleeve level stops the film stretching. This phenomenon is caused by the solidifying of the cooled matter, which then supports the constraints caused by inflation. The film, in bubble shape, is then flattened by a device, made up of two panels converging on pinch rollers.
Transversal stretching is achieved by the excess pressure of the air in the extruded sleeve, pinched off by the two stretching rollers (one roller is covered with rubber and the other is in steel). Longitudinal stretching results from the ratio of pulling speed and the speed at which the material comes out of extrusion.
